Hi Alain,

I really appreciate all your video.
But this one is really a good timing in my life...

I sincerely like your new pyramid, even though if Maslow never express is concept whit a pyramid (but it is a good interpretation and appropriation of his concept (1).

A little trick I'm using to differentiate a priority of a need if to ask me is if I really need that new product/service is WHAT IF I DON'T buy it, what will happen ? Can I live with the consequence, if not that mean that is NOT a PRIORITY.

Alain-

Fantastic video. Great lesson.

I don't know of a single person who doesn't suffer from measuring their own progress or success against the clock or another person or some other benchmark.

In writing, there's a saying meant to free you from limiting your creativity: "Write as if no one were ever going to read it."

Maybe that metaphor works in other areas of our lives too.

Thanks for sharing.

For me it's electro music.
When I launch my playlist, I know it's time to work, and I generaly got an extra boost since it's my favorite playslit!

Extra-motivated for extra-work!

Alain,

I certainly agree with the fact they take actions, embrace the suprises, and the rest of the points you mentioned apart from "the downside risk was acceptable". My believe is that they are able to disregard "risk" not be cause it's acceptable, but because the upside opportunity is greater!

Regards,
David

Alain,

I think you bring up a very important point here when you wrote - "The focus on what they can control makes them move forward faster". I think for a lot of companies - if not individuals - there's a tendency to get distracted or concerned about issues that they have no control over. The ability of entrepreneurs to disregard these issues is for me a key reason why many of them succeed because they focus only on matters that they can manipulate toward having a successful outcome.

Thanks for shedding more light on the differences that exist between managers and entrepreneurs. This was a very informative read.
