The bottlecap file
While running, I saw something shining in the distance, that got me thinking about people who keep running after shiny things.
Never forget that most internet marketers do a lot of money off of people who buy their stuff and never do anything with it. Just a bunch of pdf files and video clogging their computers. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone told me that they never get any claim on their ” if you’re not satisfied, you can ask for a full reimbursment within 30 days of buying”.
Bottom line, don’t pursue everything that pops on your radar. Don’t ditch them entirely either…do a bottlecap file

Well stated….most entrepreneurs always want to run after what is shiny and constantly fight with themselves not to. Betty Healey, the RoadSigns Coach, presented yesterday about her “ME first” work and she speaks of “dazzling distractions”. These are the kind of things that can have an entrepreneur spinning like a top but not getting anywhere. For Betty, she advises clients to put them in a parking lot…for you it’s a bottle cap file. Same thing….and I agree. We need to give ourselves permission to go after opportunity AND not get taken off course. It’s often not easy to tell in the moment. That’s why having a business coach is so effective.

Well said coach.
Entrepreneurs by their genetic make-up are opportunity seekers thus very prone to distraction.
In the age of infinite instant on-demand distraction (ie the web) the ability to say no becomes crucial to getting things done.
We need the bottlecap file, can you ship me one on condition I can return in 30 days if it doesn’t work for me?
